Korean American University Professors Association

Established in 1986, the Korean-American University Professors Association is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary organization whose membership includes professors, research scientists, post-docs, academic administrators of Korean origin working at a higher education institution in the U.S. and Canada. KAUPA is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-sectarian organization. Its main purpose is to facilitate cooperation and participation among its members to share mutual interests in scholarly, professional and social activities related to higher education in and between North America and Korea. Given the diversity of KAUPA members, it strives to provide professional services to the government, higher education institutions, and civic society at large as well as to meet the demands for personal and professional growth of KAUPA members.
